A benefit of LED retrofitting that is frequently overlooked is the improved quality of light produced by LED lighting. CRI is the gold standard for evaluating the effectiveness of a light. The higher the value on the CRI scale, the greater the quality of natural light.  

LED lighting is fantastic since it produces a CRI rating well above 90. This type of lighting has the added advantage of featuring a customizable color temperature (independent of CRI) to better suit its surroundings.
